I found that once the jailbreaking begins, do not let go of the home button until the screen turns WHITE.
Let me know if you've done this.

I find that the battery life is fantastic (lasts for days) without the sim card in. When the simcard is inserted, however, the back of the phone is frequently very hot and a full charge is depleted within hours, even while the phone is sitting around doing nothing!
I don't know if this is due to the 3.0 OS or Ultrasn0w (found mixed answers from other iPhone users)
But I'm patiently awaiting updates and solution

you know, like
turning the tables on telemarketers by forcing them to guess how you like your eggs done
