Many large companies have bonus plans in their employee’s contracts, contracts that, in accordance to the constitution, must be respected and upheld. There’s no way that the government officials with their hands down AIG’s pockets didn’t know about them before the bail out. It’s not uncommon in the first place, the outrage is only because we paid for it, without we, the people, approving in the first place. We should move past the bonuses and question not where those millions went, but the rest of the billions. No one seems to care what happened to the rest of the money.
