Nursing Novellas : The Best Things In Life Are Found When We’re Not Even Looking

Wonderful post, Amy. Snoopy is irresistible. I'm glad you found him. My mother-in-law, Joyce, has adopted two dogs that were abandoned. Peak, a big brown lab, was found on the roadside after being hit by a car. She had a broken leg and needed immediate surgery. Joyce paid for her surgery over the phone and then adopted her. (The shelter has Joyce on their speed dial, I think.) We recently adopted a Chihuahua (through Joyce) that was abandoned on a golf course. She's the sweetest little thing, but wary of men. Although, she's warmed up to me quite a bit since we got her.
