Thank you so much for this post! You have no idea how much I needed to read these words, as I'm dealing with a similar situation. For about 6 weeks, I have been wrestling with a misunderstanding in a relationship with someone very dear to me. I have done all I know to fix it, but it remains broken. It has torn me up! Thank you for the reminder that God is able to hem our unraveled messes and unmended hurts. Thank you, thank you, thank you for being a vessel of His truth.

Please do not worry about judgment from others, for your sweet Emma's life is precious, not only to you, but to God...and very worthy of your grief. Mamas have dreams for their babies, from the time we know their tiny lives are growing in our womb, and we carry those dreams and love for our children in our hearts, no matter how long or brief their time with us on this earth.

Wonderful post. A great reminder that we need to continue to meet and encourage one another in the body of Christ. We don't always "feel" like it....but the Lord always seems to show Himself, bless, speak to our weary hearts....etc. when we take the step and reach for Him and when we are faithful to gather. One of my favorite ways He shows Himself is through the body of Christ. A good reminder for us to remember our role as His hands and feet as well.

I have asked many of those exact Why? questions myself. I wonder often why it is so easy for others to be able to get their stories out there...their blogs, their books, their ministries. And, others...who have just as much to offer are not heard. I have wondered big whys about having to say goodbye to my three babies...and my mother, too. I have seen many answers regarding the lives of my children and how God has used them to comfort others. But, there are still some questions I don't understand between the bigs and the littles of this world. I'm sure we don't need all the answers...just to continue trusting in Him, no matter what. But, sometimes it is discouraging.

You have been and will continue to be a blessing to many. I know He has good plans for you and for the telling of all your stories....His story. I believe He has plans for me, too. So, I pray we will keep our eyes fixed on Him...and keep obeying...not allowing what we see in current circumstances to take away what we know to be true and trust in faith.

Sorry I missed this post. I've been a little out of it in blogland lately, not getting around to many of my friends as much. Life's been kind of busy. Anyway, so glad everything went o.k. for Harrison. He is such a little sweetie!

I have hospital issues, myself. Sometimes our human response just comes through despite what we know with our minds and trust with our hearts.
