It is very unfortunate that the intercity kids have more security because it is more likely that they are suspect. White kids are more likely sheltered or have the disbelief that these children do no wrong in the eyes of authority people. Why? Because society has made things that way it is more likely that children who have these drugs are from different ethnicity and are all experimenting with these sorts of things which means that it shouldn't be a black thing or a white thing. There are many things that can make these acts wrong or unfair but there are things that we can change. Making things aware for all is what are necessary parents need to get involved and that means all parents. There are often times the assumption that there are the blacks that cause crimes and are more likely to have drugs around them but there are drugs everywhere. People do use these stereotypes to put people into categories but everyone should be considering suspect it shouldn't be just one crowd experiencing the searches or random drug searches. If the intercity kids are search the suburban students should be as well. I think that there should be a rule of equality where there should be a change a rule laws enforce to ensure that all children should be tested and searched. It should be addressed because children know they are more susceptible to crime than another. How are we helping children understand equality if there are things like this happening everyday. Should black or intercity students be profiled? No everyone should be search I don’t think that they should eliminate the drug safety they should enforce it everywhere. How is it that the suburban kids who are supposedly havening more wealth or money able to eliminate something like that when the intercity kids are considered more poor? Are they making it okay to sell drugs are they making it okay to not enforce safety. I think that priorities are a bit mixed.
It seems to be just the reality of things whites are likely to be considered the victim in most of the alleged cases. I think simply put people of all different ethnic backgrounds should be consider a possible suspect at any time for instance the current thing now is this Florida boy was shot and kill while he was minding his own business, was shot by a Hispanic male who consider him to be harmful because it was lat he had a hoodie and wondering in the neighborhood .A innocent child killed due to his skin color considered to be a threat. This world is a crazy place that is full of hatrated crime and is hard to consider who is the suspect and who is the victim because of assumption, that a black male is the troublesome person . When in reality women men of all colors ages races are able to commit crimes.Troy Davis was sentenced to death and there wasn't a murder weapon that had his finger prints on the weapon killed . Who may have been at the wrong place at the wrong time. Suspects can be anyone victims can be anyone but it is assumption that create motive judgement and outcomes.how do we change this? It is simply too late. I don't believe there will be a way to completely eliminate it I don't believe it will change . If it ever does then we still won't be completely equal still because it just how life is .I can only hope that my children will be able to be less likely judged .Till it changes innocent victims will b killed punished accused of the things that they can't control there color.less questioning is required when you are white. Most of the times no questions are asked when your black.I don't think however that this is the reason most black me are in prison because there. Are other facts to be considered but sometimes opportunity doesnt come to blacks where as whites. Whites the former slave owners the superior in education and wealth have not struggled histories like the African American people.society has labels them better unconsciously you see them in the corporate world more often than blacks it has gotten better but it has not changed.
It is true that different news stations do have the ability to filter what they want to say and what is the truth and what is not. Its kind of hard to believe everything you hear on the news. As the saying goes believe all of what you see and half of what you hear. I think this is the situation. If you think about it sometimes there are different stores that circulate. Certain news station want to have the best story possible so that they get people to believe form an opinion about individuals and topics. Its impossible to go see what is happening in different places when there are reports I think that you have to pick a credible station or even listen to the different stations and be the judge for yourself. I’m sure that there is some truth in stories although thing may be added or taken away. If a person watch the same news each tome they have created a sense of loyalty so they are likely to have a relationship with people who report things. I’m not sure there is a better way to get informed other than watching news they make people attentive. Politics and things of that nature have very little truth behind them sometime and other times they unveil truth. The News has different ranges sports weather hot topics war, politics local news stories informative information it has become a source for many years. I give the news credit sometimes not all the time an ideal to help is get someone from the community who is credible be the informer or send real images from over in the middle east this way you have a person who isn’t being influenced to say one thing over another. Truth is hard to get now a days there are headlines to get different reaction or getting people to feed into things. Local crimes and different countries crimes or news should be view the same but they are different there are time the local issue aren’t considered as important and are reported yet there are reports that are many miles away overseas who have information like it is right around the corner. It’s kind of a horrible reality that we are living in. The decision just has to b base on the person it is the only way to have things determined as truth.
I think that names say a lot about people when it comes to discrimination simple or common name aren’t exactly the notice but the uncommon ones are. People assume that names show things or traits that a person may possess such as ghetto. I think that it is unfair but is reality. Parents shouldn’t name their kids outrageous names because they do have to grow up. There may be a less likely chance a person will get a job or chosen because of there names. It is racism the kind that is prejudged from a piece of paper. The white people do have an advantage when it comes to names and skin color blacks have those two disadvantages. I don’t think these this will get better with time though parent should have the option to name there child what they want they should also think about there future half of the time people cant pronounce the name it draws extra attention. There are name that are race friendly like Mary, Susanne, Beverly these name wont really determine there skin color but they will get a chance to see what else they offer instead of being thrown to the side. This doesn’t go for women only men as well. Sometimes it can be true that theses name are from parents who do have many successes education or money but it is truly discrimination, Black have to stand up but who want to hire bonquesha not may only because of her name but she cant get that far due to it. So two wrongs don’t make a right what will? The only suggestion I have is for parent to give there children a chance in expanding there job opportunities because America is not changing anytime soon. Blacks must realize this and when they are able to things will run a little bit smoother. There aren’t a lot of people doing it I take that back there are because they think its unique or different and yes it is different being different seem to be a problem starting from skin color now names there is not a win the only win seem to be cooperating.
Many people may view interracial dating as a way of selling out or not being loyal to there own race. Back In history it wasn’t much of a privilege to date outside of your own race as it is now that most mindsets have changed about the issue you see more of it. I think that this has become a problem among society because the mindsets of races have stereotypes still to this day. Whether it is that whites have more money or that blacks are poor and living on wealth fair. I admit I am a little bothered by it because people are doing it for the wrong reasons not all but a huge handful. Black men in the Athletic field are likely to date a white woman for status rather than a black woman. It make them look good in there eyes But lets not leave out white men who may date black women for status as being “the man “ or having the capability of having one because of the size of her derriere, lips, or breast. It is becoming an image type for interracial dating women play a part in it too. White men equal money, status, wealth, and stability in the eye of some black women. Black men equal athlete, cheaters, and deadbeat fathers but a white woman is looking for a easy way of life so they are more likely to be a trophy wife the quiet one. I have nothing against interracial dating I just think that love should have no color but some people find ways to make it about things other than that and most of the interracial population is probably dating for the wrong reasons if anyone should have a problem it should be for no dating or pursuing someone because of there race.

I believe that religion has somewhat of a gray area because of the different types. Most religions believe that there is a higher being than someone other than themselves. I believe in God and I believe that he created all things whether it pertains to people this earth and the days that we live are faith is already written we just have to live it. I also think that Everyone is different yes we have traits that come from our ancestors and they become apart of who we are but the basics we all have like legs to walk eyes to see. The unique shades shapes and colors people come in do relate to origin or environment people come in. It impossible for each person to be the same, I think also that some who pretend to be more religions than others for instance those who may go to church more often feel that they are better than those who don’t but truth is God know a person heart. The relationship with a person and god varies. There are people who would like to improve the ways they look but I think that that is just because society has made it seem that looking a certain way glamorous for instance is the right way. I think that as individuals it only human to want to improve or feel beautiful and accepted by others. Religion just happens to be vague in these decisions and thoughts but people may argue that god made you the way you are and that you should be accepting of that. We are not perfect and we have to realize that everyone’s believes and faith are different it doesn’t mean that they don’t love or worship god everyone just has there own way due to up bringing and society. Being confident in self is what makes all of this clear if you love yourself then you appreciate and accept what God given you to work with. Believing that you are beautiful physically just isn’t enough. Accepting what was giving to you from God and making it the best and living life makes you a wonderful creation from God that cant be changed due to man kinds opinions or criticism even though we are surrounded by it everyday. So what are consider imperfection may not be that at all because gods view of you and others isn’t the same as society if it was this would be a different world.

The American dream has lost its value to American people because Americans are given everything or don’t have to work hard. Benefits like free education and ability to go to public schools are just some of the things that American take for granted. Who should be the blame parents or society? It’s hard to decide because if parents are giving a child everything they want, what will be there dream? Whereas before dating back people struggled to live and survive to be the best. Today you don’t see the same efforts of young adults or children.
I am a first generation Nigerian and my parents have different views than of American parents. My parent’s value education and success more because of the struggle they had in their country. Poverty, and lack of opportunity to advance in life, Americans seem to take what they can get or what can be given. My parents have been American citizens for 23 years and they have found a way to be successful in the best way they know how too. For example my Dads a Pharmacist and my Mom has went to school for nursing and culinary arts. I can honestly say that my parents are living the American Dream of how it was once viewed.
I have been fortunate to be raised in an environment different of most Americans. My successes reflect of my parents and friends. My parents have shown me the value of having so little and maximizing it to the best of my ability and their view is coming from my African background. My friends have educated me in a American ways since childhood. I could remember a time when I told them I had to study because the first days of classes were coming up. Their responses were “there’s no real studying needed yet, it just the first day of class.” The views of my friends were different of my parents, even though I though my parents were being too strict they weren’t, It was all for the better.
Yes, I agree that the American dream has lost its value. I feel that Americans are those who live in American are citizens but there are those who are consider contributors and non-contributors. Who will be the Americans that keep American existing become better. Will foreign people like my parent not want to believe that America is the place to come to better themselves. Americans don’t value the American dream like people once did. This may pose a problem for America’s future. Who should be help responsible? When I become a parent I will be sure to instill value in my children as my parents did with me, I think it made a difference in the person I have become and wish to be.
