-The library could have a bunch of Solar Panels, but a main breaker needs to be reset.
-Some sort of nanite altered critter could be captured and made to serve as a power source. (Electric eels perhaps?)
-Hamster infection in a giant hamster wheel.
-Generator, with fuel.
-Restore power at some in town power plant.
-Gathering a source of DC electricity (battery) and hooking it up to an inverter to change the DC to AC and the computer would be plugged into that.
-Run a cable from Matt's lab to the library.
-etc.
There are tons of different ways to get a bit of power, the problem is figuring out a way to set up the player deciding they need to power the computer, and then figuring out what use it would be after being powered....

Though unfortunately I don't think that bit would be near as likely to be implemented....
Changing what happens near the end of the game as it is currently, shouldn't be too hard.... Trying to change the entire thing starting at the beginning seems like a recipe for lots of hard work and messing with something that isn't necessarily broken (if it's not broke, don't fix it XP)
