Right, but would it really be a problem if people had to use the Forge World lists in order to use Forge World rules? For example, if you want to use that silly drill thing you need to play the Death Korps list out of whichever Imperial Armor book (if the drill is in the Death Korps... I don't pay enough attention to Forge World to know). The drill is nasty yes, but isn't the rest of the list more or less intended for a rather specific playstyle that may not actually be all that good in "normal" 40K? If so, the drill may end up as a balancing factor.

What I'd really like to see is a reputable tournament give this a shot and see what happens.

Yeah, I was talking more specifically about the army lists themselves rather than the really silly Forge World models. Things like the Elysians from Imperial Armor Whatever who fight the Tyranids, the Death Korps and so on. Obviously to make it fair you cut out things like super heavies, flyers and Destroyer weapons. If this all happened, what then? Would this effect the tournament scene positively or negatively?
