My husband has also been laid off for almost a year now....He to is in construction, we keep hearing things will turn around. Haven't seen it yet!!! We are not getting stimulas monies!!! We are not on welfare, food stamps ect....We lose our health care coverage at the end of the month. We have a daughter with special needs. I have faith things will work out! Some days it is harder then others.
The banks are not loaning money to companies big or small!!!
I hope and pray every day that things will get better...For all having hard times right now!!!
We do not want handouts...We are a hard working American family...Just a decient job!!
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.... NO MORE BS FROM OUR GOVERMENT!

I agree with Ohiowoman it does gives us hope and that we can achieve our dreams....and this is something our children can learn. My husband has been unemployed for 10 months, it has been the most difficult time for us...we also have a special needs child....we do our best ever day!!!! It reminds us to never loose hope and to keep the faith. We are saving our country for our children!
