I wasn't there so I do not know if the guy simply had the gun in a holster or in his hand pointed down. I personally did not see him point a gun directly at these kids, nor did the parents see him do so. The kids where unsupervised and apparently not given basic lessons on respect and personal safety. Children and adults are known to embellish story's in the telling. Fish often double or triple in size and dogs become 20 pounds heaver and foaming at the mouth. A good parent keeps this in mind when their offspring tells how an event happened. Please take responsibility for those under your protection, sit them down and explain that not everyone they meet is mentally stable. This alone is reason enough to talk to your kids about strangers and other peoples property. Teach them to avoid bad situations, its called being a good parent.

The first thing I noticed is that it appears she had a wonderful day at the spa and one hell of a good makeup artist. The artfully attempt at the casual hair due is betrayed by what seems to be very high quality highlighted hair and styling. Nice even tan, Tanning bed or spray on, its not a natural. While I think I would sue whoever did her eyebrows I have to say the blending of the makeup is outstanding, right down to the flesh colored lipstick. The intensity of the eye makeup drew me right to those eyes without a hint of redness from crying. She forgot that when you are depicting that much emotion there should be at least one tear, and a runny nose. Not one Sniffle. Nor did I see any signs that she has had any recent crying spells. Not sure that sweater works with that tan. Should I go on?

I have no way to define it, its like something created and distorted by Mass Hysteria and Social Indoctrination. I can't understand why people would be willing to sacrifice the rights of another and not conceive of the fact that in so doing, a precedent has been established to remove their own rights. They do not seem to understand that they are one circumstance or allegation away from being in a comparable situation. Zero empathy of the individual without seeming to understand that they themselves are an individual susceptible to the same treatment by their peers because they have supported the mob mentality.

It was all an ugly feeding frenzy and very terrifying to watch. Its still more than a little frightening seeing how "Society" "Common People" and media could disregard simple human rights let alone constitutional rights. The privilege of citizenship is supposed to guaranty our rights to a fair trial. Even without our constitution each of us is covered by the Universal declaration of human rights, America did sign in on this along with most of the country's in the United Nations. Either the updated the story, or you missed this statement from the story. The driver did not leave. Police clarified Friday that they knew who the driver was from the the time of the incident and that the as-yet unidentified driver did not leave the scene.

I am not sure why the police say they cant do anything about it, or prove it from the video. The actions of this group constitute Intimidation. Do we not require our Police to learn the body of the Oregon Revised Statutes? As many times as I was brought in as a teenager for Intimidation both with and without a weapon you would think our local police would hunker down and do a bit of studying. Do they just not have time to learn our laws and regulations? I may have grown up small town in northern Washington, but at least the police where willing to use the laws to teach my ass that its far better to be civilized than not. It might have taken me more than a 4 times in Juvy for up to two weeks at a time, but I did eventually get the idea. My reason for being against the death penalty is actually based on a case out of Canada. In 1956 14 year old Steven Truscott was tried as an adult for murder, the sentence he received was death. Due to an outcry in 1960 from people the sentence ended up being commuted to life in prison. In 2007 new evidence was brought forward that forced the courts to acquit him. I know a few people who have recanted after the fact. The accused rarely gets cleared even if the "victim" recants. People get convicted all the time for things they didn't do, and folks get off free who have done the dead. We need a better system starting with taking away the motive of prosecutors to make a case just for the sake of making case. Any official we elect to an office will try and make it look like they are doing a wonderful job. Counting convictions like old ladies collect brick-a-bract.
