Kim Jung Il said the cease fire treaty was over. So we are at war with N. Korea.

He DOES have weapons of mass destruction. I think we can find them this time.

Right, I don't see how anyone can make a judgement about what's going on until we have more information. I won't assume the worst without hearing both sides.

If it turns out to be an actual violation of religious freedom then I will be outraged.

Of course unemployment tax is a cost of having employees. Would employers pass this money on to their employees if they didn't have to pay it? I guess that would be up to the employer. I suspect many employers would increase their profit margins if they didn't have to pay it. - Not a bad thing!
If you believe in free markets, then employers would pay the minimun amount they could to hire and retain employees with the skills needed to perform their jobs. Does that make sense?
As a CPA, my experience has been that most people who own a business try to maxime their profits.

FICA is Social Security & Medicare: Social Security is %6.2 and Medicare is 1.45%, which comes out of your paycheck. Your employer Matches this.

FUTA is federal unemployment tax and it is NOT withheld from your paycheck.
