Gave them musical instruments and gift cards, instead. My husband and I went into our local Gander Mountain and couldn't believe we couldn't find a good (reasonably priced) American Made Buck Knife for one of our sons-they all said made in China some said assembled in America but the parts were made in China. We live in the Catskills and felt a deep sadness when Schrade Knives went out of business lots of jobs were lost and I heard they are being made in China now as well.
