I think that you're mixing up Calder Hart and Juliana Pena with Keith Rowley. Rowley did not push the longest dagger in Manning's back, but simply twisted it.
Good job Madame PM. I am sure the the countless smiles that you saw on the faces of these children made you realize that all is not lost. While I read some comments below the newspaper article about you hogging the limelight, I would much prefer you in this role than that of the Scrooge character.
I wonder here Martin Joseph might be at this time, as he looks on at the ripple effect of what he has created?
So the return of Franklyn Khan would woo the support of the East Indian voters? If the PNM had any sort of sense, they would have used someone who is not stained with corruption. As much as many of the PP supporters are now disenchanted, the PNM as an option does not exist.
While I looked on at the various media coverage of this story, I can only assume that Dr Browne is looking for some sort of public sympathy and support after literally braying for such a long time. I think that our Parliament has become some sort of joke now, because if we are to really take it serious, or even emulate their behavior, then this country would be lost.
Long ago I heard about Police Officers not being able to own or ply a taxi during their free time as there was some sort of rule prohibitting it, but nowadays when you see concerts being held, or high profile masqueraders chipping down the streets on Carnival days, you often see an off duty Police Officer or member of the Defence Force in close proximity. If Mr Gibbs was to visit Club Bounce in Curepe early any morning, he would see for himself, armed off duty officers there working as bouncers. Many whorehouses also hire these bouncers as security. People who hire these men outside of the law do not realize that they are totally useless and can cause them more problems if something happens, as was the case of the TSTT employee being robbed and murdered recently.
It's about time that this Government take the bull by the horn and start demanding results. Crime affects us all and after six months, as we see no changes, many of us are disappointed. I see some people complaining about the crime situation, but when anything is tried to relieve the situation, they also complain about that.
While I take a gander at your comment, I suspect that Mr Mohammed's goose is cooked.
Mr Subash Panday, while you kick the very media that helped you to be in the position that you presently enjoy, what role does the Immigration Department play in all of this?
While I think it's wrong to just jump to conclusions, especially in a matter like this, I think that All leaders should set examples and not abuse their power. I know that many police officers are really hoggish and ignorant, and often abuse their power, but as a leader, Mr Mohammed should have done like all good drivers and follow their instructions.
