Oh yes, the brony music... because I simply can't get enough of that drama on Tumblr...

As for the first topic, I don't really care about it anymore, but back in 2012, when I actually gave a f**k about it, I'd usually go out of my way to look for new guys from time to time. The reason why I got tired of it wasn't the music itself but the aritsts that produce it. Before I go deeper into this topic, I just want to say that I am not talking about all, just a few I have in mind. Tumblr has really showed me how those people really are, and lately, all they have been doing is complaining about "brony music being dead" and s**t like that, they simply keep whining about it and crying about the ride being over... I'm so sick of that.

Another thing that bothers them is how they seem to take advantage of this fandom to gain popularity. Again, I am not talking about all, but since there are some musicians who see how easy the brony fandom is to exploit and they simply pull a Acousticbrony on us (He isn't even an example of these people, I just mentioned his method) and made some generic songs with "pony" on the title and OCs on the thumbnail. My problem isn't that it barely is related to MLP, my problem is that some do that to get more views, it's a way of milking this fandom like Tobuscus once did by adding the word "Brony" to the title of one of his videos.

As for what EQD does, I can't say anything about it, my problem lies with the artists themselves who want to act like special snowflakes by being elitist as all hell. I don't mind what genre it is or what kind of music it is. It could be instrumental, vocal or even a remix, I'd like it as long as the person behind that knew why we were here in the fandom, this music was supposed to be a way of demonstrating how much we like the show, not as a way of boost the fandom's ego and making money out of it.

I simply can't enjoy the content if I don't like the artist, that's all. Sure, there might be some guys out there who are nice people (eXtaticus is a good example), but due to the amount of pretentious artists, I simply don't feel like going through the challenge of looking for an artist I like

Flame me in the replies as much as you want, but that's how I feel about the music side of this fandom.

What if I don't agree with both? Sure, it wasn't crap, but I also wouldn't give it 5 stars like MrEnter

Eh, Return of Harmony was enjoyable at first, but stuff like the way Discord was defeated bothers me. It's still decent, but I wouldn't call it a god-tier episode.

Ok, finally watched it, what do I have to say about it? Yeah, it's pretty good

I mean, I hated stuff like the lack of backstory about the tree of harmony, but other than that, it's my second favourite premiere. I still think The Crystal Empire is better because it feels more interesting and it makes less mistakes than this one, still, it's miles better than Return of Harmony and Friendship is Magic.

So far, the premiere ranking goes like this:

1- The Crystal Empire (9.5/10)
2- Princess Twilight Sparkle (9/10)
3- Return of Harmony (6/10)
4- Friendship is Magic (4/10)

Ok, that's true, that bit right there felt like something out of Sailor Moon or any other magical girl anime, but the story still feels subpar when compared to those.

And anime can have happy endings, damnit! Why do people think anime is all about trying to look edgy?
