I feel your pain. As a Registered nurse, I do not feel I have a voice either. The unions certainly don't speak for me. They lobby heavily to the left and have become so political that it is just a waste of time.

The Tea Party in Columbus Ohio was larger than expected. 7000 people! Everyone was so united and spirited. I saw two little girls sipping tea out of their plastic toy tea set. They had signs that said..." Don't take money from my piggy bank". The best sign of all was this........" Great job Navy Seals! Now let's get the Pirates out of Washington!" Excellent comment. What scares me the most is what will happen if a leader stands up against him? Questions him or disagrees with him? We will never hear about it. I am so tired of Obama apologizing for our country. I really do not care what other countries think or what they say. I really do not care about the UN. I really do not care about the so called global economy. We've played nice in the sand box long enough and nothing will change. The same countries and governments that hate us now will hate us 20 years from now. It doesn't matter how much money we send to Africa or how many times we come to someones rescue. Lets just look after our allies and quit worrying about this stupid popularity contest that Obama wants us to win so badly. The AMerican people love this country and that is all that matters. That is why this web site can help find solutions and link us together. It helps to be able to vent too. There are so many hideous things happening every day that it takes a toll on your spirits. It can be so discouraging. I encourage everyone to start a book club with your friends. My friends and I are starting with the 5000 yr leap.
