Hey guys I really need help! I have gone through hell and back trying to solve this problem. I bought my mom and iPhone 4 that was on 4.0.1 already unlocked and jailbroken. It had shsh for 4.0.1 so I restored it and kicked it out of recovery mode using limera1n. But it didn't have cellular data network. I tried Supreme Preferences and that makes Winterboard not work and makes the back light stay on unless u manually turn it off. I tried APN Editing with tetherme and none of my moms settings will save. Lets say she set the brightness to half and turned auto-brightness off, as soon she exits settings the settings go back to default. Also none of her alarms will save once she gets out they r gone. Same with the ringtones. Is there any way I can just get stock Cellular Data Network without going through all this crap? I cannot figure it out!

Someone please help! I am confused and amazed! I bought an iPhone 4 from CL the other day. I know the internet was working because I used the guys sim card before me to access yahoo. Anyway when I got home I restored phone as he had 4.0.1 shsh saved. Everything works great but I can't seem to get cellular data network to pop up. Even before I restore from backup it doesn't come up. I used tinyumbrella to kick out of recovery. I tried installing mms packages from cydia but still no luck. I just need a place to enter apn for internet. Any help would be appreciated. Please and thank you

Hello so the past few days I have taken a trip up to the mmountains where there is no service. I am normally there for about 6 hours. When I go back to town with full service, the phone still doesn't pick up service and just keeps saying searching. it doesn't work till i restart the phone. Any ideas? Toggling airplane mode doesn't work either

Hey guys I got a big problem.; I currently have an iphone 4 unlocked and jailbroken on 4.0.1. Everything seemed to be working fine till i went back to school. In my school there is no towers around so I am without service throughout the day. When I leave the area back to where I have service perfectly the phone remains on searching or no service. So basically I think the unlock shuts down or something. any ideas?

I did it yesterday night after 4.0.2 was out so I thought he coul give it a try. What is the worst that is gonna happen just a note saying apple did not verify the restore. Better than his current options

Hey I just restored my 4.0.1 iPhone 4 to a fresh 4.0.1 and I didn't change the host file. That means apple is still signing 4.0.1 meaning u can just shift restore downgrade

wait what kind of iPhone do you havee? Everyone below is assuming that you have a 3GS or 4 in which case you are out of luck. If you have a 3G you are still open to an easy jailbreak
