This is great news... I like the way smith is spacing out his obligations. The time (6 months) in between the two batman arcs allows him time to finish while he keeps up with his directing schedule and wont let him fall behind like he did on past projects... I will def pick up his version of the green hornet, and think Rogens version will be great as well!!!!
This guy is really take the hatred of the movie to far... It was not THAT BAD....
Somebody should sweep Jaden's leg and hopefully he cant make this movie... To quote the lovable little guys on South Park "Stop raping MY CHILDHOOD"
I think thi is great... but I agree that Cronenberg is quick to change his status on projects.... Hopefully he will see this one thru!!!!
I dont know about you guys, but the orginal Clash of the Titans is one of my favorite movies from my childhood.... the cheesy action, the great story, and Ray Harryhausen'sclassic great effects (I know I probably messed up his name) i hope they find a way to capture that old flair in the new re-imagining.
This character had two awesome masks in the show, the mirror face and the hood... and both were extremely cool... why would they jettison BOTH of those. I could understand wanting to update the characters looks, but the two original concepts were really cool. There is no reason to take liberties with that. None...

I agee with the above comments... 1 and 3 were great action films, and 2 was a low point. JJ is the man, and they should keep him in the loop. I really enjoy Cruise as ethan hunt, and this is one character that I would like to see him reprise... The other is his Tropic Thunder show stealer, but whatever. This could be great...

Lets get through 2 first before we start setting release dates... unreal. Hollywood is getting out of hand lately. Marvel just released like 25 release dates in a 2.5 year period, Twilight is debating who will direct the 3rd movie when the second is still filming, and now this... If they wanna release the movies so close to each other, a studio should shoot them back to back like lord of the rings or pirates o.t. caribbean 2&3.... Once they are in the can, then set multiple release dates.
