No. You will get more money in your paycheck, based on a scale from Obama. However. Know this: It's really like adding exemptions. While you'll get more money ("tax relief") in your check, the scale for 4/15 has NOT changed. You are just going to end up owing money at the end of the year. Obama's tax break is basically the same as if you took more exemptions. Also, my understanding is we'll now pay taxes on ALL income. Normally, your insurance and all that is not included as taxable amounts. It will be now. So you 95% who think you are getting a tax deduction - NOT. It's hidden - far from TRANSPARENT - as promised.
Bush made mistakes. Even people who supported him are willing to admit to that. (Unlike Obamabots.) HOWEVER - this mess came from the liberal congress - Barney Frank and Chris Dodd who forced the banks to give loans the people couldn't pay. Then the banks were in a mess and the government was obligated to help them. And the current spending spree - Not BUSH, as much as you want to pretend it is. Obama owns this mess.
My hubby and I did support a local establishment by eating out today. (After a day of hiking/-geocaching - no $$$$ other than our gas.) It was so nice to have a springlike day. Trying to feel a little hope, when I actually am afraid there isn't any - for the US anyway. We are moving so communistic, so fast, with so many having their heads up their asses..... what can we do? On the subject though, greta - I think people are till spending, they are just being very selective about WHERE they spend.

Agreed. While McCain was more liberal than I like, he was honest about where he stood. And he would have known how to do the job. This administration is - frankly - embarrassing! And how do you think it plays to our enemies when it looks like our adminstration is clueless? We are in VERY big trouble!

I did Theresa. I paid my RNC dues - although I am "iffy" with the "centrist", then just paid to support the ACU and the Heritage Foundation. Hell, what's money anymore anyway. It'll all be worth nothing soon enough. So mine is going toward the conservative movement. Which is growing and strenthening - NO DOUBT. I sure hope people wake up soon. We have free will and the power to change outcome through our combine thoughts. But if we don't - and this is it - I am standing firm in God and will NOT go the route of the "seal" if you know what I mean "Vern"! LOL (Sorry to steal that term.)
