In terms of conservatives being dropped from committees & being purged from The Stupid Party, that would still be happening if Romney won. They wouldn't have forced the rules change through at the "convention" if the RINOs & the "leadership" of The Stupid Party didn't have this in mind. They would rather fight conservatives than the other party. They are after the same things The Democrats are after. Power & the end of conservatism. At this point in my life finally God has my allegiance. I won't be fooled by politicians of any stripe ever again. I will still vote, but very discerningly & no party will have my allegiance ever again God is the best & only alternative left. God keeps His word. This cannot be said of our "leaders". The GOP is beyond saving. It is indeed dead.

Joel, Paul Mulshine has been calling for the GOP to jettison conservatism & move to the left for quite some time now. Don't take anything he writes or says seriously. He may sound like he gives a damn about the conservative movement, but he is as left as they come. He's the David Frum of NE politics. He also doesn't give a damn about the "tea party" movement.

Not really guest. The so-called conservative media continually tried to sell a RINO whom conservatives wanted no part of. Talk radio, "conservative" magazines & websites, etc. have become carriers water for the RINO movement. I disagree totally with EVERYTHING the Democrats espouse, but unlike the RINO GOP they are honest & don't back down from their principles, no matter how ugly they may be.

Ron, so-called conservatives are guilty of the same thing. They'll pull the lever for ANYONE the GOP (Stupid Party) shove down their throat & say "vote for who we recommend, or else you're supporting the Democrat!". I got so sick of hearing that line of malarkey that I dropped my Republican voter affiliation after the '08 McCain debacle. The GOP (Stupid Party) are against liberalism UNLESS & UNTIL they are the ones dishing it out. Mitt Romney is ample proof of this. The GOP are nothing but Democrat-lite & have ceased to be an effective party in countering the left wing lunacy of the Democrats. They want power to enact their own liberal policies.

Hi JillianMe. I just want to thank you for your comments. Reading them made me realize just how blessed I am to have been chosen to know the one true, living God who created & rules this universe. I hope He makes Himself known to you one day. In fact I will pray for Him to do just that in all seriousness. There is no feeling like it. Also, it takes more faith to believe God doesn't exist than it does to believe He does. Anyone who walks out their front door into creation & can't see God's glory is blind. Without God there wouldn't be human beings, unless you believe the stork brings 'em.

Arrow, the GOP (Stupid Party) have mastered defeat to the point I'm beginning to believe they enjoy it. Expect to see either Jeb Bush (RINO) or Chris Christie (RINO) shoved down the conservative movement's throat in 2016. There will NEVER be another conservative Republican elected President in America ever again. The GOP are finished as an effective political party because they have made it clear they would rather be another liberal Democrat party instead of a conservative alternative to the party currently occupying The Oval Office & The Senate. They DESERVE every defeat they receive as long as they continue to offer up Democrat-lite RINOs every four years. Mitt Romney may be a nice guy, but he is a liberal Democrat in terms of his ideas & policies. Liberals & Democrats will choose the REAL liberal Democrat every election. Stuart, only God can give life & only God has the right to take life. Rape is a crime against women, but rape AND abortion are sin against God. Two wrongs do not make a right. Vengeance belongs to The Lord & the child did NOTHING to deserve death. EVERY child is created by God & is a gift from God. Killing the child through abortion due to another man's sin is no different than the sinners who wanted to stone the woman caught in the act of adultery in The Gospel of John all the while being sinners just like the woman. Abortion is murder & Romney is wrong.

John, what did the child do to deserve death? EVERY child was created by God & is a gift from God. Rape occurs due to sin. God did not bring sin into the world, human beings did. Two wrongs do not make a right. Rape is a crime against women, but rape AND abortion are both sin against God. Who are we as sinners all, to say a child deserves to die because of another's sin? This why God says vengeace belongs to Him. There is nothing wrong which won't be corrected by God. Yes, Romney is wrong.
