Blue Shift Creations : Images: Recent Artwork

Interesting pictures, though the first ones perspective is off. Are you planning a new animation for Canistel? The last couple look like they would play into each other. Also, I hear they named a fruit after you band!!!

Blue Shift Creations : Poem: Buy This Poem

Nice poem Susskind, I like the very depressing mood you have going, it reminds me of the poems I wrote for Shakespeare class. Also, since I'm bored, I present to you a poem in response!!! Strange, I know... /* I'm not a writer, so yours is probably much better. */ "I’ve Bought This Poem" by Justin Braun Your words hold so true I’m part of their system Not so much unlike you After we traded away our freedom Now we’re in too deep We fall into their planned abyss Caught on an intentional slope so steep Our ignorance is no longer bliss Our souls have been bought By those with silent control With whom no battle we fought As they pushed us into their hole Their grasp is to strong Push back and it will not break We can’t hold out for long And servitude we will not fake Our souls are forever lost But in others hope has a home This message must be delivered at any cost: DO NOT BUY THIS POEM

Man my timing was off! Of course that was slightly due to the either 140 or 240 measure rests that started these songs off for me. The fourth song was slightly better because I was playing the entire time.

Looks pretty good, but I would have recommended a gray for the base exit. Also your depth work is really showing off well here. Plus as a bonus, some random dude...

Blue Shift Creations : Video: "Train Jam: Part One" by Canistel

What's up with Nick P. in all these videos? He seems to have chosen a very awkward place to sit. Also for future Canistel videos I would recommend you cut/shorten the BSC logo, because 1/3 of this video was just logos. Plus you already have the logo in the bottom right while you guys play.

Blue Shift Creations : Website: Eko USA Guitars

About time Susskind! I've been waiting to see this site since learning learning about Eko guitars from Nick in study hall. I must say it looks nice, though a little flashy for my taste. I'll check the website more thoroughly when I have time, but so far I see only minor issues.

I liked your 25-page episodes more, your stories flowed better in bigger chunks. Other than that, I like that your photoshop is a lot more prominent than in your last series, particularly the shadow text and depth focusing. Also why do all of your main characters seem to start off in jail?

Blue Shift Creations : Video: "180 by Summer" Drum Cover

Sounds really good Susskind! The motion blur was really cool at some points, especially when at the end. I would suggest a different angle so that the audience could see more of your playing, but being that it is a song, it really doesn't matter. Although it's not my type of music, I enjoyed the fact you chose to make a recording of this song because I think it shows your talent well. *Now I also see why some of the reviews for the speakers I have said they sound very "tinny" at times.

Not what I would consider a short story, but compared to your book it might be. I'll read more thoroughly after I return from Canada, because the netbook I'm using has such a small screen size.

Blue Shift Creations : Update July 2, 2010

Normally I would have deleted all the programs manually, but there were at least 50 of them. And some would come back after I deleted them because HP was checking for and than forcing updates of their software almost every day. This is the website I will be updating: http://www.terminalhockey.com/ They have not updated their information on it since 2008, and in some cases before then. But they also want the site to be much more dynamic for news, so I figured Wordpress would be the best option for them. My version of the site will be visible as soon as they give me the info I need to post a mock-up in a sub-domain.

Blue Shift Creations : Update July 2, 2010

Sounds like your projects are coming together nicely, and I look forward to seeing the new website finished. I'm currently redesigning my father's hockey team's website, so I can see why it has taken you so long to finish your website. Oh, and this is also my first comment from my new* college laptop (clean install of Win 7 with no HP crapware).
