These employees hit the lottery. What happened to negotiations? Pierce County just rolled over and handed money out like it was a cheap box of chocolates. This is nothing new Pierce County handed out three million at one given time in the past. Out in the real world bosses can pull all sorts of unpleasantries and employees don't get money handed to them as pacifiers.
