I know you must be wondering....what does this have to do with the picture I posted on this blog? I lost count of how many times my bro commented on conservatives (those people deceived by FOX NEWS and the like...) using misrepresenting information, distorting facts, calling names, and so forth. Of course the progressives do too!!! We see it all the time...but we have the truth!!! We have all the truthful information we need and lots more! We don't need to stoop down to their level. Okay, I'm off my soap box now! :-)
The third weekend of October my husband and I had the joy of traveling to northern Illinois to see my son (whom I hadn't seen for almost ten years) and his daughter (my youngest granddaughter) whom I had never seen. It was a wonderful time. Seeing them. But, the not so wonderful time was spending the weekend at my brother's house (though I was grateful for a bed!) who has a through and through progressive mentality. He has for years. He thinks O is wonderful--couldn't be better--doing great things for the country--yada yada gag! He is also an active member of an Unitarian Universalism "church"--all into social justice, et al. Of course we had "discussions" while we were there. It is so sad--he REALLY believes it!
Sorry...my RSS Feed titles snopes.com as New Urban Legends. First, about snopes: I have found them to have a very liberal bias and often find errors in their information because of it. Having said that, this time they are right...at least for sure that this picture was not taken at Fort Hood. Snopes comment listed a video that shows the event which is encapsulated in this picture. Go look for yourself and see if it seems plausible to you. Second, I personally watched the entire memorial service at Fort Hood on FOXNEWS. There was not a background area like shown in the picture and there was not a time when O lined up with military personnel as shown in this picture. Now if you want to talk about what a pious fool he is, how he stood aloof while he gave his memorial speech, why he doesn't want Congress to assign any committees to investigate the Fort Hood shooting, etc., etc.--THAT would be a worthy conversation!
Hey Andrew! You ought to check this picture/information out on Urban Legends--maybe next time even before you post. I am totally opposed to what Obama and his gang are doing to our country and trying to spread the word to as many people as I can. However, when some of "them" read erroneous information like this, read the comments posted by others who have not checked out the accuracy (or lack of), it makes it much more difficult to convince "them" to listen to the real truth. ____You know I back you guys in this ministry you have going on here--you are informing a lot of people. Let's keep it to the truth, huh?!

I was told several years back by Chuck Missler, Koinonia House Ministry, that he and his wife were very disappointed with the Smithsonian because of the revision of some of the history of the United States. I will be interested to read what you have seen.
Hmmmm.....don't want to spoil your time of rest, but I've been pondering something: There has been a lot of hype in the news the last few days (when they weren't canonizing Teddy) about the swine flu coming in full force this fall and getting vaccinated and many people dying, et al. What if...just an if...the swine flu does come, people get sick and some die and Big Brother uses the event to call a national emergency? I'm just saying......I'm not paranoid, you understand!
