So Fox AND Glenn's researchers couldn't find info on Citizen Consulting, Inc.? Their secretary/Treasurer is Mildred Brown - as in the same Mildred Brown who heads Citizens Who Care, Inc., ACORN Community Land Association, Inc., ACORN Community Land association of Pennsylvania, ACORN Housing Corporation of Pennsylvania, WAL-MART Alliance for Reform, Inc...and many others. She MAY also be the same Mildred Brown who just "happened to be in a shelter" and quoted in a 2005 story when "W" went back to revisit the poor ravaged state of Louisiana. And, oh yeah, her main address is on "E" Street in Washington, DC! Hmmmm. Hey, wha' can I say - I'm an investigator by trade.....
Again, I cry, where is our Daniel Hannan? There is no-one stepping up to the plate to challenge what the congress and the administration are doing! The wannabes that I see pontificating out there are nothing more than the same old same old, trying to package themselves in a "new and improved" format. PLEASE, do a due diligence on anyone who is asking for your support at this stage. If they've supported legislation that is just plain wrong - don't support them. If they've expressed views that are have hit a ping on your "this is a screwy dude" radar - don't support them. There's a vaccuum right now, and a lot of the old slime are trying to jostle for top-dog position. Don't be taken in by "change"...You can all see what just happened when the masses went for change. Demand substance! And, above all, don't settle for someone you agree with on "almost everything".
fantastic letter, Jared. But I respectfully disagree with your conclusion that tea parties are not the answer. The tea party movement has the liberal left in almost full blown panic mode. We've taken what was solely their province (marching in the streets) and done it better (no violence - with the possible exception of that little gal from CNN). What we need is an even bigger mass demonstration. They're hoping we'll just go away, sit down and shut up. I for one, have had it up to here with the nanny-state mentality on display, and I think hundreds of thousands of others have too...

The president is going to sign the Edward M. Kennedy "National Service Act" this afternoon. Only 105 in the House and only 19 in the Senate voted against this legislation which will, among other things, REQUIRE every school to incorporate "notions of service and volunteerism" into their curriculums this fall. (Hitler youth, anyone?).
How about that civilian army Mr. Obama spoke of?

Did anyone see the yahoo congressman on Cavuto tonight trying to co-opt the Sacramento tea party? He told Neil "this is the Republican base"!!! And, just now, on Hannity, Newt Gingrich was trying to co-opt the Atlanta and New York tea parties for his "American Solutions". I'm so incredibly frustrated!! I firmly believe that all of us should go to our local voter registration office on April 20th and change our affiliations to "Independent". Maybe if both parties see hundreds of thousands of "defections" on the same day, they'll get the message. (You know you can always change back in time for your primary in 2010).
