I'm not going to slam the Japanese because we already did in World War two. That being said I've been to Japan and I do not think it is racist to say that they are into some weird shit. Why should CNN advocate that this game be banned...obviously there is a sexually deprived market that purchases this stuff...and if they can't buy this foolish game they're still going to be weird and find other strange shit on the internet as the internet is endless and nearly impossible to regulate.

I'm a bit indifferent over this issue. I don't play video games or rape people--I don't find rape entertaining either. This is just another example of the extincting of "taboo". It's a sick world and I'm contemplating not having children for that reason. Perhaps I'll adopt a Japanese child and teach him/her about Jesus and how rape is wrong and what not...I could also tell the that video games and masturbation make you go blind (that's what my folks did)

In conclusion-The Japanese inflated video game designers are looking for the next big thing to sell-whether it be rape or something worse(if that's possible) CNN is looking for a shocking story to sell--rape gets peoples attention-sex sells etc. Everyone one wins-capitalism prevails. Think about it. Do you want to live in a world with a loose grip on perversion? Or under a tyrant who cuts your hand off for the mere mention of unconventional sex and monitors your God given sleezy internet rights.

USCSD is a beautiful campus. I do not know why they are not attracting more black students...however, given the stats mentioned in this article-whites being 30 percent, Hispanics 20 percent, and asians 30 percent, seems like a diverse representation. The other statistic stating blacks make up 6 percent of San Diego County while only making up 2 percent of the student body of USCSD should not imply that USCSD is racist in anyway...USCSD is located around La Jolla and Torrey Pines which are upper class white areas...my point is that USCSD is not the only university in southern California and the reason for it's low number of black students enrolled is simply demographics. It seems-by the wording of this article-that the faculty is beginning to get some heat for this Compton cook out nonsense. The press goes wild over stories like this. Especially liberal print companies such as the New York Times. It seems to me that this was simply an isolated incident of bad taste. Jigga Boo Jones is a fool out for his own interests...by interests of course I mean money. We have seen people do this before. It is pathetic that one would exploit there own community for self gain but many stoop that low. The idiot student body were probably more interested iin getting drunk than hurting feelings. I'm sure dumber things have happened on this campus as well. In a perfect world people could get drunk in large groups without hurting anyones feelings. How unfortunate we are not that lucky. In conclusion I have driven through Compton and agree it is worthy of making fun of...but in good taste of course!

From the comments I've read I can see that my peers need a geography lesson. Let's start with the east coast...the birth place of same sex marriage--New England is one of the most liberal pieces of soil in the world. You could probably take a chimpanzee to the prom and no one would raise an eyebrow. The west coast starting at San Diego is very progressive as you move north it becomes increasingly liberal. However as you move east 11 miles from the California coast things begin getting conservative...the south west is predominantly made up of moderate to conservative communities with an exception of cities like Austin Texas. However, the heart of Texas heading east to the Atlantic, wit exception of south Florida, swooping up to right around Virginia(south of D.C. of course) is what is considered the Bible Belt or demographically the south east. This situation takes place in Mississippi--you can figure this area is about 50 years behind the power curve of race/gay relations. The bible thumpers( i.e. Jerry Fallwell, James Dobson, Pat Roberson, et cetera) still call most of the shots.

I believe that the prom was canceled as a preventative measure to the outcry of the community if this act would have taken place. The high school administration did not want to take the heat from upset bible beating parents. I doubt the school faculty, who are generally higher educated and more understanding to same sex couples than the average parent, would have a serious problem with two girls dancing together as girls generally do weird shit like that at proms anyway. Obviously a news agency got a hold of this story, targeting towards educated viewers(the audience of 24 hour cable news) who are appalled by the backwardness of the south east. Sex sells--I suppose same sex sells as well-in the form of a provocative news story.

The concept of white guilt should soon become a problem of the past. I have never oppressed a black person. Likewise, there are no black American slaves alive today. I am not trying to dismiss the fact that racism does not exist currently but if I am not practicing it why should I feel guilty? If white people feel guilt for being over privileged why don't they give all their money to the black community? This would eliminate guilt as most religions endorse giving to the poor and metaphorically describe living a simple life as the path to heaven. Guilt should be instilled in a wealthy person when they see a fellow man living in destitution--this is not a new concept. But feelling a sense of guilt for a dead ancestor of mine committing an injustice against a dead ancestor of some one else from a different ethnic group...life is too short to worry about the past. I choose not to worry about things I cannot control. To reiterate if you are wealthy, white, and guilt ridden-give your money to a poor black person. If this doesn't work find a way to make another fortune and give this to the poor blacks as well. Keep repeating this process to the guilt subsides. If you still feel guilty you may have to seek out professional help...it may be that your guilt stems from a personal thought you harbor against other ethnic groups that you are unable to admit to yourself. If you are unable to be completely honest to your self you may need to seek professional therapy (check-up from the neck-up) I hope my advice helps the guilty white people of the world.

Freedom and Determinism was a great lecture. Many people of many different colors have gone from rags to riches but this generally is not the case. In this great country we are told we can be anything we want to be which is a pretty idea to entertain but the truth is life is not fair. This being said people of disadvantaged backgrounds need to stop playing the victim. The playing field is not level and never will be. Obama beat Mccaine like the family mule without playing the race card--hard work pays...talk is cheap. Janet Reno didn't rise to her position using her good looks. If you want something go get it...and if you fail-well the world needs ditch diggers too. Just be happy your living in the US opposed to a third world country where your only options are to prematurely die of AIDS, Malaria, or Starvation.

The bible being a generally great book has been flawed and contradicted and sometimes thought to be out dated. If we took this book literally as we do towards homosexuals, we should also take adulterers out in the street and stone them to death. The bible, more in particularly the old testament, is full of all kinds of crazy shit. People love to twist around verses to meet there ideals. Homosexuality is easy to single out as morally wrong. The question is...are gays going to hell for engaging in homo sexual activity? I think if we take a fundamental veiw from the bible the answer is yes. This being said if we want to interpret the bible literally we need to sell all our possessions and follow Jesus or we will never see heaven...In this economy I can't afford to sell anything or give offering. I guess I'm going to hell with every one else!

As we have seen in the past subsidies generally have an adverse effect on the market they are targeted to help. I am a staunch capitalist and rarely support any type of government aide. These "hand outs" are what's burring our country in debt. It's pretty to think about helping people and living in a perfect world in harmony but the truth is life is not fair. It is baffling to me that an organization that prints money can be broke but we are. I do not have the answers but I understand how the markets work and the basic concept of winners and losers. I am not taking Pat Roberson's side and saying that Haiti is cursed because they made a deal with the Devil and I commend the aide work the US is doing there...it's basic humanity. However on a larger scale we need to get back to basic capitalism-supply and demand-no one is too big to fail. The American dream is dead...move back home with your parents and stock pile as much cheap rice as you can get your hands on...and if things get really bad we may have to elect Glenn Beck in 2012. It seems in the world today some limitations could be placed on the wearing of burqas. A photo ID is pointless if you can not see ones face. Most banks and convenience store will not allow you to enter wearing a mask-or in this case a burqa-for security reasons. While I was abroad my unit encountered suicide bombers wearing such atire as a disguise. It was also a night mare as we had to have female personal at every check point to search women. It seems that in this modern world people need to sacrifice some of their traditions if they wish to function in every day society. I'm for equal rights but strongly opposed to special rights...even in religious situations.

This is another form of heartless violence that could have been avoided if this man would have gotten the mental help he needed.

I suppose justice will be served--but not for the family who must live with this loss.

I am very fascinated by the use of unmanned drones. War is a very ugly thing but if we can use these drones to seek out the enemy and deliver cold steel on target while keeping our boys in the rear I'm for it. I also think these drones may reduce a certain level of human error.

It's a tough war...but tyrrany and opression must be adressed accordingly by the people with the credentials to push the button.
