Agree with most of that Qubit, but don't see why you'd want to introduce "diminishing returns" for goals scored- if a player gets 4 goals, they deserve a "ridiculous" score in my opinion.

Yeah, that's going to be annoying. Thankfully my cup opponent took a 4-point hit to drop Lampard for Fabregas- he'd captained Arteta so would have ended up with Lampard as captain otherwise, close shave!

It also won't affect me in my min-league, so it's just in the overall rankings where it'll cost me, which I don't mind too much. Of course, Torres could score 5 tomorrow!

Diaby->Bullard, Milner->Malouda, Scharner->Carragher, Ivanovic->Bale, Rooney->Torres ... not looking bad at all so far to be fair!

Wish I'd followed through on my plan to take another hit for Fox->Bale.

I'm not sold on any of my options for captain this week: Drogba, Rooney, Arteta or Lampard. Considering making a 4 point hit to get Torres in for Rooney, just so I have someone I'm happy captaining this week. Already got Bullard in for N'Zogbia. Any views on this plan guys, yay or nay?

I scored 84, no points hit. He scored 88, minus a four point hit, meaning we drew. I go through on overall ranking: I have scored 1796 for the season, he's scored 1788.

That is what you call a close shave!

I reckon they saw that everyone on here was talking about the new comment system and thought: "we'll have to do something spectacular if we're going to dominate the FFS saturday night chat tonight..."

Arteta picking up where he left off with the bonus judges it seems. I'm struggling to see how I'm going to cram him into my team, but I would definitely like to.

I'm getting a bit carried away with the new system, started adding a few people to my "following" list to see how that works... it seems like a good idea, often when I'm *ahem* working and I can't be bothered reading through everything I just scan through it until I see a gravatar I recognise as someone whose posts are normally worth reading, and see what they've been saying. I guess this is a more efficient way of doing that.
And yes JWF, I am implying that your posts are worth reading: don't let it go to your head ;)

To be fair RBJ, it does seem from what Mark says above that the hidden/expanded replies issue can be changed pretty easily. Also, although I take your point about the "like" feature and the number of posts, it will at least allow newcomers to the site to see who the more reliable sources of information are- to a point.

I wouldn't have expected anything less than an angry reaction to this from you though ;) Love me a good RBJ rant... and expecting another now the bonus is out! Excellent work with that score by the way, looks like Andy has the odds stacked against him.

Ooh and you can edit/delete your comments too! Handy, but may take away from those magic moments where somebody says "Bendtner is terrible, I can't believe people are actually buying him" seconds before he scores.
