The original article on Oxfordshire UKIP's website makes for a truly disturbing read. How can the British government turn its back on so many of its citizens? The case of samatha Orobator makes this all the more absurd. A non British born girl gets caught red handed in Laos with thousands of pounds of drugs on her which she planned to sell in the UK and so David Miliband rushes over to demand her release. Whilst in Britain a young man is sent to Greece based on flimsy evidence and our government doesn't make a squeak. Terrifying!!

I dont doubt for a moment that the majority of people who are backing the Lisbon treaty have good intentions and dreams of a united Europe that is powerful and democratic. But i can also wager, that this majority have not read the lisbon treaty and are probably getting their info from the Europhiles who do not tell them that, democracy will not rule, a super army will be created and the creation of gestapo style secret police which will answer only to its unelected master.

Michael,

The problem with immigration is that its going to boom our population to 70million and our country isn't going to be able to cope with it. Our economy won't be big enough and their won't be enough houses which will lead to more people being forced in to ghetto's. Ukip's policy about continuing immigration but not handing out British citizenships is a good one. That way people will be able to come over to work but when another recession hits we can send them back temporarily. Its worked for Canada, Japan and Australia so it will work for us.

I listened to the interview. Nigel came off very well. I don't know who redice are but i think its safe to say they are anti EU and want to make people aware of the dangers of the Lisbon Treaty.

I thought communism and facism would have shown the world just how important the private sector is. A planned economy in which the state is in full control only leads to one thing.........bankrupcy. This article hits the nail on the head. The taxpayer would be paying less and not be confined to having just one choice when it comes to education and health care.

A lot of conservatives sympathize with UKIP. I think after Cameron's term in office we will find more and more Conservative MEP's and MP's jumping ship and swimming over to UKIP. I would love Daniel Hannan to come over to UKIP. He is completly Euro sceptic and the conservatives don't give him the credit he deserves.
