As the poster mentioned, it's supposed to be like a "Life of Brian" for this generation. There's also a Mel Brooks movie or two that had characters speaking "modern slang" in a biblical setting ("It's good to be the king"...."We have mighty joint!"). I want this film to be funny, but it doesn't look like it will compare to films before it like "Life Of Brian" and "History of the World", which are classics. So hop aboard the "this sucks" bandwagon, at least out of disappointment. Don't be shy, there's plenty of room.
