Well said. Banning poppies is not the way to go, in fact banning things is a DUP tactic, who the hell would want to copy DUP tactics?
Banning poppies is just as ridiculous as banning GAA tops, or trying to.

Just you keep your head in the sand for 10 years like you did before the union flag decision.
Unionism can possibly win the UI argument for 10 years, 20 years, maybe even 50 years, but one day there will be a major event that changes everything.
Perhaps something negative in the UK, or something really positive in the RoI will be the trigger that encourages nationalists to get out and vote in proper numbers. And when they do it is game over for you and there will be no going back, you will be part of a UI even if you kick and scream like a spoilt child. Prepare now! There will be a tricolour flying over Belfast city hall one day!
