Americana Roots | Defining Americana Music : Drew Kennedy AAGTCCT or How I Learned To Love Travel Songs

Loved the video...and I could not agree more with you on Drew Kennedy. I was not familiar with him until you brought him up a few months ago...now I am a big fan. Also enjoy Austin's stuff too. Can't wait for new material from him as well.

Americana Roots | Defining Americana Music : Ryan Bingham - Golden Globe Nod

I need to check this out. T Bone does a great job as a record producer. Let me also remind some of the interview I did with Ryan back in June 2009. Here is a link to that... http://www.americanaroots.com/2009/06/10/features...

Americana Roots | Defining Americana Music : The Sociology of Live Music

Had to jump through some new hoops to be able to comment, so I hope it is worth it. I liked the "Delightfully Oblivious" added by Wevo. Unfortunately encountered several of those. The one I am thinking of right now is "Mr. Request." You know...the one who feels compelled to shout out a request after each song. You may even call him "Freebird Man." I remember Todd Snider once getting a little ticked at one particular audience member...and just to have a little fun he started singing "Freebird" just to get the guy to shut up. I think he did it all in fun, but a lot of times these requests get old in a hurry. So....I nominate "Mr. Request" as my pain in the ass live concert guy to avoid.
