Asia Bibi is one of many Muslims who have become Christians in recent years. By accepting baptism they make a public and complete break with Islam and render themselves liable to ostracism and persecution. An English non-religious person may cynically think baptism is nothing and readily done to gain asylum, but in fact it signifies a complete break with ones upbringing and often family members too.
Surely priority should be given to these men and women over economic migrants. Incidentally, Christian converts from Islam don't become terrorists.

One thing lacking in feminism and its current followers is any ideal of the family or of a good woman.

Biblical Christianity has such an ideal (in the book of Proverbs, chapter 31). The ideal woman there efficiently manages a large household, employs workers, runs her farm business, looks after her husband and children and (note) is respected by her husband.

Feminists generally reject Christian ideals, but their alternative value system lacks positive ideals and advocates hatred of those who disagree.

A doctor thinks his patient needs to get out more and have some social life. He can make a non-medical recommendation to join a bingo club (gambling, not good for mental health). He can recommend a golf club (no-one will accuse him of getting a kickback from the club). But if he recommends going to church he can be (and quite a few doctors have been) reported by the nurse and reprimanded for "introducing religion".
Not burnt at the stake but anti-christian prejudice at work injuring the doctor's career and ability to give what he considers the best professional advice for some of his patients.

There is no need for extra laws to get people to do their jobs properly. Those who were responsible for this disgraceful and sad affair, through their incompetence, should be dismissed. Also the line manager(s) who failed to see the work was done properly. And the Director of the DPP and the quango who appointed her and the previous director who had to be given the push. And how about a Parliamentary question as to how many civil servants and police have been dismissed in connection with this and other similar scandals?

Some women actually like bringing up children. Surely they should be 'free' to do what they want. Isn't that the main point of feminism?

Underlying this is a world-view controversy: are families a good thing? the government and many people appear to prefer 'consecutive consortship', supported by putting cohabitation on a level with marriage, easy divorce, and, as the article rightly points out, unfair taxation for families with children.
The results of these policies in thousands of disadvantaged children without fathers or a stable home are plain for those with eyes to see and hearts that care.

I have had doubts about Scottish educational outcomes since on a holiday in Edinburgh I noticed in the trams signs saying "space for guide dogs". But a blind man can't see and his dog can't read.

There are less residents on an area of farmland, and in the River Thames, than around Heathrow.
You may well be right if your point is that under present management, nothing will ever be done. But leadership and some good ideas might possibly make a difference.

You may well be right, but what is needed is a decision, not endless discussion.

We need a seriously useful, investment-generating, eye-catching headline project to generate hope and enthusiasm and encourage the nation to work together to build a flourishing post-Brexit Great Britain. Here is an idea in two parts:
1) We shall start immediately on a new airport for London, at Cliffe (on the south bank of the Thames); and
2) On the site of Heathrow we will build a new, high-tech city - Queen City (‘Q’ for short) - with Parliament and government buildings, an Oxbridge university and science parks, and 100,000 dwellings.
The A4 is Britain’s Silicon Valley, and Heathrow is at the end of it, an ideal situation for a high-tech city. The vacated government buildings in Westminster will be great for tourism. Hotels and housing at lower rents will come on the market, as well as offices near the City for new business and international trade.
