Restore the Constitution using a STATES amendment. THE STATES can amend the constitution UNILATERALLY without passing through DC! Article 5 tells us two ways to amend. 1) DC Congress and The States, or 2) The States without Congress. Yes! We can amend it any way we want without Washington DC having any part in it. We are the UNITED STATES not the COUNTRY OF DC! The founding fathers put this in Article 5 for a purpose – the day has come to use it!

What has happened to us is that, little by little, too much power has shifted from state governments to the federal government. The power they abuse is their ability to "tax and spend". In the beginning, this power was held mostly by "THE STATES" - not Washington. They were limited. Today DC uses our own money to manipulate and control us. This has been going on for over 120 years. The founding fathers intended for "The States" to have MORE POWER than Washington. They knew if the central government gained too much power that it would turn into a tyrant. Result is that our freedom of choice is limited since they are so powerful - we don’t appear to have control. The founding fathers intended that each state would have the power to "tax and spend" within their own state. States would each make their own choices with their own power as long as it was not limited by the US Constitution.

Look, the US congress on longer listens to the people although they may pretend to at times. Protests, marches, calls and letters to pass laws are not going to RESTORE compliance to the constitution. ONLY AN AMENDMENT BY THE STATES WILL!!! The 50 states will have to radify an amendment to put washington back in it's place and restore the power to tax and spend to the state level the way it was prior to 1913. ALL the abuse they inflict on us can be traced to one source - federal taxation and sending being taken from the states and dominated by DC. In Article 5 the founding fathers gave "the states" power to amend the constituion without any vote from washington. It's time we use it to put them back in thier place and become the United States again instead of this Country Of DC we live in now.

This is NOT secession, this is simply restoration of powers per the contitution. For over 100 years the feds have been stripping powers from the states. This would restore it and put the money in the hands of each state. Our problem is the feds with too much of our money.
