I was up way too late reading and commenting there, Nick.
Pissed me off no end.
Facts are dangerous things. I remember the uproar when 'The Bell Curve' was released. Heads were exploding everywhere in academia (and of course on the internet). But no one could successfully attack the evidence, much of which came from gov't stats on things like test scores for the ASVAB (the military battery of tests they [used to?] give in high school, labor dept. stats, etc.
So, what they did, of course, was hastily throw together a bunch of studies which pretended to correllate opposing data, none of which is actually measurable - which is where we get bullshit like "emotional intelligence", etc. Then, they dumped all this crap on top of the findings of Herrnstein and Murray, baked it, and prescribed the recipe to any professor who would dare to teach 'The Bell Curve.'
Basically, the same thing "journalists" do when they can't bury a story involving democrat misbehavior.

Actually, that's what's happening to me. Apparently, I have to remember to go to settings and switch to desktop browser mode before I even enter the site (when I'm using my tablet, which I usually am).
If I don't, then like you said, I get wordpress format. What was screwing me up was, I'd get here, realize I was in mobile mode, so I'd switch to desktop mode and refresh. This changes me to ID, but the formatting is totally screwed - sidebar overlapping comments, etc.
So, like I said, the fix is pretty simple - just make sure I'm in desktop mode before I get here (he says with fingers crossed).
