Big Hollywood : Daniel Craig Dresses as Woman in Insufferably Sanctimonious PSA

The thing is that it isn't even just Islam and Sharia...it's the bulk of the "uncivilized" world that is responsible for much of the inequality that they cite. That's what I don't get. I don't understand their (generally the left) need to happily pretend that the bulk of the world injustice is contained in and the fault of the western world. It just baffles my mind that this PSA can talk about all the girls being raped while going to school while at the same time implying that it is happening around the corner. IT ISN'T! It is happening in places like the middles east and Africa and South America. Not the UK, the US, Canada etc. Granted it happens sometimes here (sadly) but to pretend that it is something it isn't shows that the real concern of these people is to look concerned....not to fix the problem.

Big Hollywood : Smacking Down Tavis Smiley: Why, Unlike Jon Stewart, I Have Some Respect for Bill Maher

This is the kind of stuff that keeps me from completely loathing Maher...and definitely begs your respect (at least that as opposed to liking him). Not only is he completely right in this regard but you have to credit him with being consistent. A lack of consistency is really one of my biggest problems when it comes to arguing anything with liberals. So, it's nice to see the occasional one who doesn't have that flaw. It's amazing to me how people can't tell a difference between here and the middle east. Here: She gets called "honey" there: She gets her clit cut off Yep...no difference there Tavis, you're right.

I think this is Kanye's best album since Late Registration. I feel like I like this one better than Graduation already at least. I've never bothered with 808's so someone should tell me if I'm missing something.

Big Hollywood : Time For Howard Stern to Retire? Yes.

I've got nothing against Stern, so don't get me wrong.... but Opie and Anthony is a FAAAAARRRR better show if you're looking for this type of talk. I can't disagree more with the author saying that stern is the only thing on the radio dial. O & A have kept me laughing for years, and Jim Norton is the funniest comedian out there. Not that all of the other comics they have on aren't hilarious too.

Big Hollywood : 'The Walking Dead’: Populated with Racist Southerners & Dumb Characters

Sounds like you're familiar with the Grapic Novels (errr comic books...), I'm willing to bet that they are setting Merle up to be "The Governor" or whatever they'll call him. The writers probably decided they needed to give that character some motivation for being as sadistic as he is. It's the only thing I can think of since the entire sequence with the group of survivors in the city and the rooftops didn't happen in the books.

Big Hollywood : I Was LOST, but Now I’m Found

Yeah, I'm in agreement with you. Everything on the island happened. Some died before Jack (Jin & Sun etc), and other died after (Hurley, Ben, Kate...etc). The sideways was the only element of an "in between"...the whole rest of the show happened.

That's not really "the" question Frankie. I'll grant you that it is a fair question though, but probably best suited for a different topic than whether or not the media has lied and misreported about this incident. It's not really applicable as a reply to what James has said above. It's a different topic altogether.

Big Hollywood : Hopefully ObamaCare Will 'Die Quickly'

Ok, so...a bigger opponent of government run health care you will not find than me. I also agree that there is a complete lack of actual debate going on...and I'm sick of arguing with liberals that don't understand how to actually debate a topic instead of just calling something stupid or racist...I guess they take their cues well from the leadership. But........ I find it odd that a lot of conservatives and republicans don't see the difference between what Joe Wilson did and what Alan Grayson did. Don't get me wrong, Grayson is a typical lying liberal douche. But the two actions aren't equivalent. Interrupting a speech by the president (any president) during an international broadcast by calling him a liar in front of the whole world right to his face is not the same thing as critisizing a party in general during a (so called) debate on the issue. It's just not, and it does our party a disservice to pretend that it is. What Wilson did was tantamount to questioning a generals orders right in front of the enemy. You just can't disrespect the office of the presidency in front of the whole world like that. It should not have happened, and we should not further the problem by pretending it was not big deal.
