If you listen to the video, it's not because he can't afford it.. It's because he doesn't feel like the WWE has earned his $9.99. Russo doesn't feel that he should pay $9.99 for extra content, if the free content isn't producing and doing its job by selling the network to the fans. Think of a video game, for instance, if you buy a video game, and it doesn't live up to they hype, or even just the gameplay is terrible, would you really be interested in paying for DLC for said game? No. At the end of the day, the DLC won't make the game more enjoyable but for only a short while. Back to the matter at hand, if the weekly product is terrible, then why would a wrestling fan pay for the Network?

The greatest heel moment in history could potentially happen at Wrestlemania 30! Punk interferes during the Taker-Lesnar match, just as Taker is setting up for the Tombstone, Punk takes out Taker, allowing Lesnar to defeat the Streak, while reuniting with Paul Heyman! Think about it, you'll already have the greatest ending to Wrestlemania humanly possible with Bryan winning the title. Why not have the greatest face & heel moments on the same Wrestlemania card?!? Golden Opportunity! Given that he does show up, of course.
