I'm thinking that if I were writing our current events as a thriller novel, I'd be hoping the Author was going to hinge everything on one, insignificant, Everyman who finds himself suddenly, terribly drawn into the drama. Spurred out of his lethargy, he says one thing to a neighbor, he engages a difficult co-worker, he mends an old relationship, he visits a city official, he shares something important with the school principal, and he stands with a sign outside a television station. From those key people pivots out a wide-angled, far-flung antidote of Truth that tips the balance and turns the tide and we are saved! Be THATman.
