I think that's a Gandhi quote...and painfully true.

OK, Jon, you may have gone too far. Putting Phil Keaggy in the same sentence as Sandi Patty borders on heresy....I feel like you just punched me the gut. I may have to quit reading SCL...at least until your next post.

I concur. The Hammond B3/C3 totally rock...totally. We've been trying to get one for our church, but to no avail.

What kind of organs are we talking about? Like a Hammond/Wurlizter or Heart/Lung?

Stuff Christians Like - Jon Acuff : Having 2 Gods.

Every night I pray that God would guard my children's hearts. So much in this world is set against them. Every day I try to instill in them that Daddy loves them...always and forever. I am also considering lessons in tae kwon do, hand-to-hand combat, and the secret Vulcan death grip.

I actually heard of somoene telling their children that Halloween was Satan's birthday...seriously. Now their kid's are scared out of their garanimals come October 31. A. It's not even true. B. Really!? Justin Bieber's birthday, maybe. But, Satan's?

Stuff Christians Like - Jon Acuff : Wondering if you could get out of the way if a stereo speaker fell from the ceiling at church.

A prop, hanging from 2 and eventually one wire directly over the stage, hit the bass player. He didn't miss a beat...kept right on playing. The scar and short-term memory problems are barely noticeable.

What am I thinking? For the love of all things good and holy, people, move to the center! Is the 6.8 seconds you'll save darting from the church to get in your "illegally" parked car (don't get me started on this one) really worth occupying the aisle seat 3 hours before the service starts? I'm pretty sure that some of them line up outside the night before like it was the unveiling of a new Apple product. OK, I'm done. And thanks for all the fish.

Yes, but not nearly enough, then it quickly turns a dingy grey and melts away all too quickly...much like hair. Yes, my hair melts away, or so it seems.
