It's been 3 days and I'm still laughing at the fact Applejack was like, an inch away from killing one of those things. Ah well, I'm sure natural selection will take care of the rest of them sooner or later.

I have to admit, I went into this episode with almost zero expectations and I really thought it wouldn't be that good.
I can not be happier to say I am currently eating my words (pan-fried with a lovely white wine sauce).

It was one of the best episodes of the series, it just had so many excellent moments!
- The music was sublime, it was lovely having acapella songs just exhibiting pure singing talent.
- Big Mac actually sung! I'm still in a state of disbelief!
- Fluttershy actually had character development for the first time in a long while and it was done in believable way! Nothing too huge but just baby steps, in-keeping with her character type.
- Seriously though, the music! THE MUSIC! IT WAS SO GOOD!

This episode and Pinkie Pride did a lot to rekindle my love for the show which, I must admit, has been flagging in recent times. However, if everyone on the show keeps on doing episodes like these, I don't think we'll have a problem lasting the next 5 years.
