“.......No Deal is bad for Britain and worse than the deal on offer......”

Quite simply, this is just a filthy lie.

From a lawyer.......belonging to a group of Tory lawyers who are pursuing their own class interests in stopping Brexit.

Doubling down on the ’no deal catastrophe’ constitutes both abysmal defeatism and the very crudest dishonesty. Despicable.

The EU would not wish the Brexit issue to be resolved without the ‘consent of the British people’........so, whilst doing its utmost to thwart Brexit, the EU does not want to be seen with the knife in its hand.

This is why there will almost certainly be a second referendum in UK before too long.

This will be a complete stitch-up - the questions will be scandalously manipulated......i.e. ‘Do you wish to leave the EU with Theresa May’s Withdrawl Agreement........or do you wish to stay in the EU?

This is why, May and everyone else who wants to remain insists on calling the WA ‘delivering on Brexit’........it has been planned like this for the last year, and what we are witnessing is just the pre-prepared script being played out.

So, in this way, UK stays in the EU........and then the EU can proclaim that 'this is the legitimate will of the British people - who have made their choice now that they are in full possession of the facts about Brexit'.

As long as May remains PM, I can see absolutely no other outcome.

Accordingly, the Tory Party will be annihilated at the ballot-box........and deservedly so.

The big test for her will be when she attempts to get some non-Brexit legislation through.........say, her Finance Bill.

The DUP would withdraw support - as would honest, leave-voting Tories............and Corbyn would never go for propping her up.

She would have to call a general election.........at which point, she would have to go.

Quite when that might be, we don’t know.

May is a fanatic, and she is being steered by fanatics in the Civil Service, and supported by fanatics in the Cabinet........

........none of them respond to rationality - they just want their way, which is to leave UK tied to the EU in such fashion that there will not have to be a referendum or significant legislation to rejoin......

.......even if rejoining means the euro, an EU army and accepting full federalisation.

Stewart is a slimy, wet Lib-Dem remainer........with a majority of 15,910.....I’m sure that the 56% of Penrith & The Border voters who wanted to leave can find it in themselves to vote for a Brexit Party candidate - even if it is just the once.

Tell you what JB88

Let’s have another referendum........another binary choice.

1. Do you wish to leave the EU, and construct new trade on WTO terms?

2. Do you wish to rejoin the EU, and become part of federal Europe with all trade terms and other regulations relating to our lives be made in Brussels?

Fancy it?

May is basically daring MPs to dare her to cancel Brexit.

Fire away.

Don’t complain when the Tories are wiped out at the ballot-box.........(if Farage can find 450 candidates).

..........whereas I enjoy talking about politics.......

.......and I am not going to moderate my conversation for the sake of the sensitivities of others - which are often fake.

Making allowances for people who do not have the maturity to hear alternative opinions - or the information or intelligence to counter them, is just wrong.

Turning your cheek and ear away from a debate is a form of surrender. People with right of centre views should not allow themselves to be bullied, or have their opinions de-legitimised.

Excellent piece...........and every word is true.

The police are being used to ‘manage’ social attitudes - the ogre of ‘hate crime’ must be legislated away.
