That's when you reply to the atheist, accusing them of posting fluff. What do you expect them to post? There is more than one definition. The first definition: a false statement made with deliberate intent to deceive; an intentional untruth; a falsehood. This definition of lie shows intent, which is why I said "according to the definition of 'lie' you are using." Whenever I accuse someone of lying to me, it's with that first definition in mind. I know plenty of Christians, but I would never accuse them of lying when they tell me that God is real or that Jesus loves me. Just because what they've said is a lie doesn't make me think they are lying to me, because I think of a lie as something intentional (like the first definition states).
