The "Fair Tax" would be a tax on what you buy. If you can afford more expensive items, you can afford the higher taxes associated with purchasing that item. It would still be progressive, and it would be fair because you would pay a tax according to what you can afford to purchase. People seem to think this would get rid of the IRS, it would not. It may make it a smaller bureaucracy than it currently is, but would still be needed to ensure that taxes are being collected as items are sold. Please check out www.2termsonly.com !

This is too long of time to give these politicians. They can do a lot of damage in 4-6 years, especially if they are not held accountable for their actions in a re-election bid
