There are some armies fielding 100+ pox walkers mixed with cultists or plague bearers and using the "The dead walk again" stratagem as much as possible.

However, it seems whenever this list is actually doing very well, the player is playing some of the rules wrong - for example creating pox walkers whenever other pox walkers die.

I think they are trying to push all FW models out of the competitive meta. Most FW nerfs for codex armies took previously great option below the codex unit they were out-performing.

Whether they did it for balancing, to appease people with no access to FW or because there is a greater margin on plastic than on resin, I don't know.

It is, the author of this rumor came forward and confirmed that he was just trolling the facebook group.

Just curious, why should they be costed the same?

Shouldn't the cost come from what the weapon does in the context of an army, rather than its stats in a vacuum?

Do IG actually buy power fists? If not, would they buy them for 6 points?

In their recent financial report the claimed to have started doing market research under the new CEO. You are referring to the previous CEO, John Kirby.

Kanz with rokkits or KMB are the same as before.

I'd also like to point out that the deff dread stealthily got an additional attack (bonus for the basic 2 PKs no longer included in profile). Still "can't get into combat" pretty much sums up all the walkers.

Otherwise, great article, love the title picture :D

There is also no actual rule preventing your opponent from flipping the table and trampling your minis to dust. Go figure.

The model is designed to fit the turret either on the front or in the rear. The construction manual shows both options. If you're really strict about WYSIWYG, you would even have to mount the kannon on the front unless you buy the 'ard case upgrade.

Also, there is no actual rule against modeling for advantage.

There also is a formation of 2x 10 Flash Gits and Kaptn Badruk in Hour of the Wolf, in case you are starved for heavy support slots. Sadly the entire formation is 21 models, so they can't fit in a single BW when you join them into one unit.

No, because neither relentless nor S&P does anything for assault weapons.

The only models that can benefit from a Gitfinda and S&P or relentless at the same time is a SAG Big Mek and a HQ from W!G with the heavy result of the kill-dakka relic. And if that works is up for discussion as well.
