I remember my first IMAX experience, it was fun but a luxury that I couldn't afford as a 15 year old. I haven't even heard of the controversy until a week ago on digg. This reminds me a lot of Chibi Robo from Nintendo, a little robot that serves a very dysfunctional household doing chores but needs a recharge every so often by plugging into outlets. As for the movie...it was depressing, seemed to say you shouldn't try to reach for your dreams because you'll end up failing. Great animation though.
