@Janice - I'm hoping that the UX Workshop will be a place not only for those new to the industry to learn, but also contribute. I believe we need to constantly be looking to the future in all of the disciplines that fall under the umbrella of the UX Workshop; a balance of experts and fresh ideas!

Moving from theory to understanding is incredibly difficult unless we can experience the lesson first hand. What we're trying to build is a community that allows others to share experiences in a more human way. Mailing lists are good, but we can be doing so much more to bridge the divide between disciplines, geography, and the like.

Some really like interactions like bubble comment, others find it annoying. Thoughts?

@cindy Chris and I will be at the IA Summit in Memphis this year. I'm hoping to capture video comments from attendees as well as presenters as a kind of mash-up from the event. Live interactions via video conference calls is something we're building on. Love to hear other ideas - please keep them coming! :)
