However, if there is *any* part of you that buys into the tradition of Christmas then I believe it's time to reexamine your choice because tradition isn't something you have the ability to choose. While some may enjoy a bi-weekly phone call others may prefer the occasional Facebook comment. Find out how your client likes to communicate and follow through. I even add calendar reminders to keep in touch with my most important clients. If I don't have any real news to report I'll simply ask how business is doing. It's the personal touch that makes the most significant difference, at least in my industry.
