Fanboyz.net : GREEN LANTERN Trailer

I don't like the suit. Ryan Reynolds will be great. But the suit will ultimately dictate if people like this movie. Seriously.

Fanboyz.net : Tony Gilroy to Direct THE BOURNE LEGACY

That is a tentative title for right now. The fourth book in the 'Bourne' franchise by Robert Ludlum is titled The Bourne Legacy but they may not go with that title. And the new Superman movie is going to be called Man of Steel (if you are talking about Zack Snyder's Superman.)

Fanboyz.net : Movie Review: WALL STREET: MONEY NEVER SLEEPS

Jordan I just watched this film last night and I totally agree with your review. I felt like I had no idea what they were talking about most the movie but I guess that should be expected since it want's to be an authentic movie about the financial world. The one part that bugged me is that the trailer for this is very misleading. If you go back and watch the trailer you get the idea that Gekko takes on Shia LaBeouf's character as a protege. Even the check that LaBeouf gets as a bonus in the beginning of the film is made to look like Gekko gives it to him in the trailer. That's what I thought. I would have liked to see a different movie I guess...

What I love about the HP movies is that they get better and better as they go. And this finale should be a big payout for fans who want a dark, epic, action-packed film. And I think this looks better than Tron... But we will wait and see.

Fanboyz.net : COMMUNITY'S Joel McHale Cast in SPY KIDS 4

I like him too...just not sure if Spy Kids is what I want to see him in. His humor in The Soup and Community won't work for Spy Kids, so I don't know what he will really bring to the movie.

Fanboyz.net : Five for Writing: Who Should Play Superman?

I think if they were to do a classic Superman story then Jon Hamm would be great for that role. However I don't see that being the commercially viable way to go with the story. Hamm would have been a good Superman 10 years ago, but now he is just too old for the role. I say ditch Routh and Welling and go another direction. Routh filled the shoes so to speak in Superman Returns but that has to be one of the most forgettable movies of the last few years. @Joshua - you are correct, Kevin Spacey was great as Lex Luthor, but that was about it for that lackluster film. Not enough people follow Smallville for anyone to even care if Tom Welling went to the big screen. For most moviegoers he will just be another Superman, not the guy who played Superman on television. And Jordan, good article except for the bit on Zac Efron being a pretty good actor. We have yet to see this, and 17 again and Charlie St. Cloud were not the vehicles to display any type of talent besides a pretty face and great hair. Besides that Efron is just too young and boyish looking to be taken seriously as The Man of Steel. I say go with a newbie. That or Nic Cage. I like him. Just kidding...

Fanboyz.net : Warner Bros Doesn't Want Ryan Reynolds Playing Deadpool

Look at Spider-man. If Blade made even a portion of what Spidey pulled in than you would be correct. This all reminds me of the episode of Entourage where Vince wants to play Pablo Escobar and, oddly enough, Warer Bros doesn't want their Aquaman playing a violent, drug lord.

Oops. Good looking out there on that stupid mistake. All fixed now. After watching the GL footage at Comic-Con I can see why WB wants to keep Reynolds as their superhero. The movie looks like it will be a huge hit that should lead into a franchise. It's all about money, and GL is where the $$ will be. Thanks for the comment.

Fanboyz.net : Movie Review: SCOTT PILGRIM VS. THE WORLD

First off...really well written review Jordan. Nice job. Having not seen the movie yet, do you think it will appeal to those who don't know about the comic? Can this movie be enjoyable for those over 40? You mention that you don't have to be a video game nerd, but does this appeal to a general audience you think? Or will more people flock to The Expendables? Penny for your thoughts...

Fanboyz.net : Movie Review: INCEPTION

I will agree with you that The Matrix was definitely a game changer. Mostly because we hadn't seen anything like it ever before. Now we almost come to expect movies of this caliber to be a game changer. Like The Dark Knight was a game changer for superhero movies and Casino Royale was a new kind of James Bond movie and so on. With Inception the game changer here is the originality. As with The Matrix, Inception created something we have never seen before. With that being said I don't want an Inception trilogy. :)

Fanboyz.net : Movie Review: TOY STORY 3

You ended this review spot on. I think it is amazing that a movie about toys can pack such a punch. My only criticism is that you feel Toy Story 2 was a disappointment. I think it was a rare sequel that was just as good (if not better) than the original. Hopefully we get some other comments on here. I want to hear some different opinions.

Fanboyz.net : Shyamalan Mystery Project Possibly UNBREAKABLE II?

Josh- You need a second viewing. In my opinion, Unbreakable is Shyamalan's best movie. An authentic look at what a person with super powers would actually be like. The fact that it wasn't filled with action made it even more real for me. Check it out again. I think you will appreciate it more.
