This will be very controversial, and no, I haven’t been on the bottle. With Manure’s goal keeping problems at the moment how about Rob Green, proviso, Sir Alex stumps up with no less than 12 million.

This will give us real money to spend on a quality striker or fullback. I don’t think goalkeeper at the moment is as important to us as what happens in the outfield. It could be seen as a high risk strategy but you have to take risks to succeed.

For the record, I voted for Piq and Carew.

Agree gents! Love to go through to the fourth round and play Swindon.

Not stunning football from a team in the 3rd tier, but they did show that Di Canio guts, determination and self belief.

Just, yep, this game has 'banana peel' written all over it! Twice, with much easier games we had the chance to go top of the league and failed.....but isn't that the West Ham way....when you least expect it, expect it! Maybe.....just maybe...we choose to do it the hard way...again!
