Solar, geo-thermal, bio fuels, etc.. will take years and years to develop and build, and will never be as economically feassible, or provide as much electricity as clean, eco-friendly nuclear power. We could kill 2 birds with one stone.....stimulate the economy by building 100 new plants and cut our foreign energy dependence at the same time. If Detroit could just come up with a battery/electric powered car that could go 300-400 miles per charge, we could cut our oil use by over 50%!! When will the Dems/Obama wake up and see that the answer is already right here in front of us!!
