I live in Houston. We have watched our already slowing economic oil & gas market shrink during this recession. Now we are down another 30% from the low's we were already experiencing. How long are we as Americans going to let these people spit our face. La. is going to lose a ton of jobs as well as the Texas Gulf region. Houston is the Oil & gas Capain of Industry in these markets. We are seeing the layoffs happening now. The courts struck their ban down now twice & they think the 3rd time is the charm. When have we seen the Federal government ever file so many suits against states in the Union? This man is either so smart he's become stupid or he just wants to ruin Americans financially. I just haven't figured which road he's on. I'm leaning towards the latter.

It isw possible to get this done. Why can't we introduce a bill to let the American People decide if they want this healthcare mess? Being that this is the takeover of 1/6 of our economy shouldn't we have a say nationally. 535 people made this decision for 280,000,000 million of us on a bill that effects everyone negatively & only benefits 10% of our population. They are getting the benefits & the money I & my Four fathers worked to earn is being taken from me. This isn't a foreign matter, it's a domestic matter. Does Canada absorb the abuse our system does? Does it deal with all the illegal immigrants or just the shear volume of people that live in this country? As far as incentive programs to get more students into Primary care is shame. When they start learning how the system is going to underpay them for the enormous amount of work they do they will simply choose another path. It won't be R & D on new medications. I do agree if this�bill isn't struck down by either State or Supreme court we would need to attact & keep new doctor's. The concern then becomes what their quality of care would towards the patients.�

The fact remains we are building a Canadian style healthcare system in which they don't have any doctors. Why would the leaders of many socialized countries come here to get a surgery? The fact is the contract with America from Newt G. was the one who regined in the Clintastic spending spree he was about to embark on. Congress during that period is why we had the boom we did in the 90's. Everyone was making money so who cared. It's a shame your house of cards built up is crumbling as major corporations who provide good benefits for their workers are going to be stripped down. 30 million private citizens forced to buy this insurance think they are buying into a Mercedes when they are getting a Yugo. Oh, just so you know I, Walgreens stock went up Friday because investors are happy Walgreen's does want to take loses on their medications. Medicare doesn't pay & neither will this healthbill. If you want to insure the uninsured they you fund it out your pocket. I have a family to feed.

Apparently you didn't get both my posts. Of Doctor's polled 30% said they would retire rather than deal with government healthcare. Can we afford to lose that many professionals. Espicially when they make so much for your precious tax coffers. Much like SS has trillions with IOU's in it. The CBO can't score the bill until it takes effect. How do you think they could possibly judge the inflation or amount of tax revenue brought in? We have to start paying taxes now which means I make less money to help my family. They are many ways to fix the system without such a drastic change. If I had more room I'd teach you a little about them. Their number's mean nothing in the scope of this bill. The libs have staggered this in a way so it looks as if we are saving money. I didn't fall for any communism tactic. My blood pressure is great by the way. I'm very healthy thanks to my PRIVATE insurance. Why would I vote for substandard care? In my opinion those without insurance would be better off not buying into this plan. Reports showing 30% of Doctors will think of retirement. Walgreen's shutting the doors on new Medicare patients because of pay outs that won't even cover the cost the pharmacy has to pay for the medicine. Either your just an educated idiot or lack the common sense to see the real truth.Oh I wondered where my tinfoil hat went. Could you put on some pants, go upstairs out of your Mom's basement & ask her to look under her bed for me. She likes me to where it during foreplay.
