I do know that God is on our side. He is on whoever's side that's following the 10 Commandments.
1. God didn't say "kill baby's because its more convenient than having to care for them"
2. God didn't say give your money to the government so they can decide who to give it to, he does want you to be charitable but he doesn't want you to give your money to someone to be charitable for you, that's not charity at all... that's redistribution i.e. socialism

You cant make decisions based on empathy and feelings. Feelings change all the time. What angers me today, I may ask my self tomorrow, Why was I so angry about that again?. Decisions must be based in logic and reason in order to stand up against the test of time. Take the issue of Guantanamo Bay, the far let "feels" empathy for the enemy combatants held there and cried out that it should be shut down. Their savior said that with in a year he would close the base. This was a decision made on the basis of the far lefts feelings, not logic and reason. Now their savior as well as the progressives in Congress are back peddling because that decision didn't stand up against the test of time.
