This is a great argument from Bill. I ususally disagree with him, but he's right. The "people" making these vacinnes have altruistic motives, but sometimes they are wrong. People should be free to choose.

I was there. All of you saying the turnout was small....were you there? I've been to plenty of events with 10's of thousands of people, and this was different. If we didn't reach a million, we were well over the 1/2 million mark. The people marched down Pensylvania Ave for over 2 hours at a steady clip. Sadly, by the time the news (FOX) got there, crowds had dispersed looking for food. The rally began at 1:00, and many had left around 12:30 to get food. We saw thousands off the beaten path eating at local diners. Many were overwhelmed and grateful at all the business they received.

I'm proud of the normal people that show up and make statements like this. There is less of a chance that anything will go wrong when people are armed. I don't understand the lack of logic by the people who believe it will cause MORE problems. We are aware that the Statue of Liberty is in New York. We are driving all the way across almost the entire U.S. to be there. So we are going to take a day and head to New York. After driving 3 days, taking a day to see the statue will be easy. Thanks for the God Bless. I believe we will need it.

Yes. If we are driving this far....we might as well see as much as we can. We have a family member in New York who will be putting us up before the march. Then we'll march and then drive home. My kids are so excited. My husband has been there before, but I've never been. So this will be fun.

We have a booth at the Summit County Fair where we will be giving away FREE Pocket Constitutions, and also have Books and Audio MP3's of The 5,000 Year Leap. EDUCATION is the key to waking up our country so they can enter the great debate with intellegence and backup for their beliefs. We live in UTAH. We are going to drive all the way to DC. Those from Utah who cannot attend will be marching on the State Capitol. This movement is so important. Here we go again. The STAR Forum (Save The American Republic) is having another TEA Party. This time we are putting up a booth at the Summit County Fair in Utah. We will have three days to get out our message to the average person and WAKE THEM UP! We will have copies of The 5,000 Year Leap for sale as a book, or an MP3 audio book. Also we will be giving away free Pocket Constitutions. I have found that many of the people in our community, while believing as we do, are afraid to stand. Getting a copy of the book, or the audio book in their hands is one of the best wake-up calls you can give them. The fair runs Aug. 6 - 8, 2009. We had a meeting last night to get everyone signed up to participate at the booth, and iron out the details. We are also going to put our float in the parade on Saturday. We also discussed the first 3 principles from The 5,000 Year Leap. We are being very proactive and sticking to the principles. I have a friend who was recently arrested on his own property, after taking exception with the way an officer was treating a man who had just been hit by a car in front of his home. The policeman looked at the bleeding man who had been hit by a truck and said "$hit happens." My friend said to the officer, "Are you kidding me? This is how you treat a man who has just been in an accident?" This happened in front of his house, and he was on his way out to help the man when the police arrived. After the exchange, my friend walked away. The police jumped him, and arrested him. Seriously the officers where out of control. Looking for something to be angry about.____But here's the kicker ..... HE'S WHITE. Police sometimes behave inappropriately. It has nothing to do with race. It has to do with police officers wanting or feeling somehow threatened when someone questions what they are doing. ____I can barely listen to our President speak because I just feel like it's one con job after another. One set up after another, and one big "we inherited this" mess after another. I'm SO DONE!

You are right, we do need to have a way to do something now, and the petition is great. I asked some people in my area to sign a petition put out by American Solutions to stop the Cap & Trade. I had people respond with, \"What's Cap & Trade, I've never heard of it?\" \"What does it matter if they take money from big oil and give it to windmill projects?\" \"I really don't have a stance on it, so I'll have to check into it further.\" It was then that I realized there is still such a huge \"wake up\" call this necessary. We've had good response. We are thinking of doing the County Fair Parade and even setting up a booth where people could purchase "The 5,000 Year Leap." And we can hand out more Pocket Constitutions. I bet many Americans don't have a copy in their home. I know a lot of people are waking up, but a lot are still sound asleep to what is happening. I had a petition against the "Cap & Trade" bill and I had people say to me, "I've never heard of it. What is it?" I was shocked and I realized just how much work there is to do. FREEDOM CAN WIN!

I think it is very important to stay positive and get educated. The best medicine for our country is to talk to our "actual neighbors." You know....the ones you live by. We had a tea party celebration, not a protest. We decided to proactively hit the streets. We marched in two parades and gave out HUNDREDS of pocket Constitutions. We had a beautiful wooden-engraved Declaration of Independence on display, as well as the original flag of our country. I'm pretty sure Glenn's church prohibits guns at any of their meetings or on their property. I would love to hear his feedback on that. I'm not sure what my opinion is on this one.
