In another episode, I can't remember which one, when Ted is first trying to court Stella, Stella tells him she hasn't been out except one St. Patricks day at a bar with some friends. Maybe the girl Ted bumped into was one of Stella's friends that she sets Ted up with later. Just a thought. Oh and Cecila...is a reference to a Simon and Garfunkel song called Cecila.
